2nd Generation, blackpowder, percussion. single action revolver with 7.25" barrel. Brass bead front sight, with v-notched hammer as rear sight. Blued finish to the barrel, and cylinder. Case-hardened frame, hammer, and loading lever. polished square-backed triggerguard, and backstrap. Has all the correct original Colt markings, one-line barrel address, naval scene on cylinder, etc. Smooth walnut grips. Matched serial#'s on barrel, frame. triggerguard, backstrap, and cylinder. Action is crisp/tight. Bore, and cylinder chambers are excellent. Grips are excellent. Blued finish is about 99%, with very faint drag lines on the cylinder, markings are crisp/clear, action is smooth/tight, comes with Colt, wood-grained box with no end label. Total production was 4,250. Produced 1971 to 1978. Has never been fired.
